Dr. Adam Feltz serves as a Professor of Psychology at the University of Oklahoma. He specializes in theoretical and applied science for ethical and informed decision making. Dr. Feltz is regarded as one of the world’s experts on the psychology and philosophy of ethical disagreement, and is best-known for his groundbreaking work identifying sources of fundamental philosophical biases in moral judgm
Gwen is a 6th-year graduate student in the lab. She received her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Mathematics from Union College (NY) in 2020. She received her M.S. in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Oklahoma in 2023. Her research broadly focuses on trust. Her previous work focused on the impact of different choice architecture interventions on individuals’ decision-making and trust, as related to water reuse. She is currently working toward interventions that can help people properly calibrate their trust in various domains. In her free time, Gwen enjoys going to the movies, watching shows, and learning new recipes
Jenna is a 6th-year graduate student in the lab. They received a B.S. in psychology with an emphasis in developmental disabilities at Pitt State University in Pittsburg, KS. Jenna receieved their M.S. in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Oklahoma in 2024. Their previous research focused on biological measures of individuals’ cognitive ability, specifically measuring visual acuity and working memory. Much of Jenna's work at OU has centered on justice. Early in their career, Jenna developed an educational intervention to educate the public about multi-layer plastic and used it to model the impact of knowledge and perceptions of justice on important recycling-related outcome variables. Jenna is now working to examine possible identity intersections that contribute to people's justice perceptions to predict their willingness to consume fewer animal products. Jenna enjoys reading, playing with their dogs, and watching softball.
Alex is a 1st-year graduate student in the lab. Alex received a BA and MA in Psychological Science from California State University, San Marcos. Alex's previous research focused on cognitive psychology, specifically looking at topics such as false memory, belief in misinformation, and decision-making. In Alex's free time, he enjoys reading comics, playing video games, and going to heavy metal concerts.
Yangying is a 1st-year graduate student in the lab. He received his B.A. in Psychology from Baylor University in 2022 and his M.A. in Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2025. His previous research has focused on how dialectical thinking affects people’s psychosocial adaptation. He is currently working on the mechanism behind human moral decision-making. In his free time, Yangying enjoys reading and cooking spicy food.
